Legal Advice
Legal advice is not always immediately available when you need it. However, the 15 minutes free telephone advice provided to Guild members is usually enough to cover most legal difficulties. The areas of law included are contract, tort (including negligence), employment, landlord and tenant, and insolvency.
The Guild offers this service to its members through its own appointed firm of solicitors and by covering the laws of England, Wales and Scotland, it provides help in many of the situations that arise in running a business. If, however, more complex or specialist advice is required, or if representation is needed, this can be provided at a negotiated cost.
